Our Mission
NEW-HOPE-TBI is dedicated to improving quality of life and health outcomes for patients living with traumatic brain injury, including concussions. We seek to fill critical gaps in the current scientific understanding of the connection between brain injury and Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Contribute Through Brain Donation
Traumatic brain injury, including concussions, is often a profoundly life-altering experience. Survivors may experience changes in cognition, physical ability, and emotional regulation. Living with TBI can affect a person’s ability to work, to engage in relationships, and to enjoy everyday activities. These experiences and the expertise of people living with TBI provide critical insights that inform the research at NEW-HOPE-TBI. If you, or someone you love, is a TBI survivor, consider contributing to this research by sharing your experiences and learning more about postmortem brain donation.
